About

I’m a writer and digital strategist. I help corporations, brands, and media companies develop and implement scalable creative marketing, communications, and storytelling solutions.

Most recently, I was Chief Content Officer of Tatler Asia, where I led the brand relaunch as well as print and digital editorial strategy across eight markets: Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

I was the Digital Director of Food & Wine, Digital Director of WWD, Editor at Large of Glamour, and Executive Editor of Epicurious. My work has appeared in publications such as Vogue Paris, VMan, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Condé Nast Traveler, Esquire, Elle, and Allure.

I was born in Oxford, England, and grew up in New York, where I attended Stuyvesant High School. I studied linguistics at Dartmouth College; women’s studies at the University of Oxford; and fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. In 2000, I was scouted by the founder of Wilhelmina’s 10-20 Division, where I became the first Chinese-American plus-size model signed to a major American agency. My first book was published by HarperCollins in 2006.
